1980
THE ORIGIN
Francesco and Gianbattista Rastrelli, after the Pharmacy studies at the University of Milano, followed by cosmetology specialization courses and several years of apprenticeship alongside the most well-known and authoritative Italian researchers and cosmetologists, make the decisive step by founding their first company: an activity producing cosmetic finished products, as subcontractors.
2004
THE FOUNDATION
Kalichem Italia foundation by the Rastrelli family: the company specializes in the research, development and production of cosmetic raw materials. The focus is on R&D activities, to develop the products portfolio with the first patents.
2008
FIRST STEPS OUT OF ITALY
Beginning of the internationalization process by creating an international sales organization, starting in the main markets of Europe, the Americas and Asia.
2012
AN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY
Kalichem continues it global expantion by reinforcing its international presence through new worldwide collaborations.
2014
BECOMING BIGGER
The company expands its headquarters, building a new plant in Brescia (Italy) with modern and technologically advanced laboratories and production facilities for the research, development and manufacture of exclusive and innovative raw materials for the cosmetics and medical device industry with the highest quality standards.
2016
JOINT VENTURE WITH LAMBERTI
Kalichem joins Lamberti group in a partnership.
Lamberti is a big Italian company with a global presence, long term experience and historical skills in the production of chemical specialties for many sectors, with a wide range of applications among which PERSONAL CARE.
